40 Days of Decluttering (Day 2: Teaching Paperwork)

Day 2 of my adventure was much like Day 1. I was swamped with papers! As a teacher, I accumulate a ton of papers, books, and transparencies. Today I didn't need to shred--which my paper shredder thanks me for! However, I recycled lots of teaching materials and put aside books to return to the Teaching Library at my school. The overhead projector transparencies were recycled at my neighborhood Safeway's plastic bag recycling can. Apparently the transparencies are the same type of plastic as the common plastic bag. I'm enjoying finding out where to recycle while I declutter. Meanwhile, my file cabinet is shrinking which is a good sign of progress!
