Gee. It's hot today. I'm really surprised that a week before November, we get a heat wave in SF. I think global warming is here to stay. Rainforests are being eliminated throughout the world which I believe contributes tremendously to the problem. The other day I was watching BBC News (I highly recommend BBC News due to their broad, unbiased news program) and they had a short report about the growing of soybeans in Brazil. You wouldn't think soybeans would be the cause the demise of Brazil's rainforests, but they are. Apparently, the US has too many genetically modified soybeans which the Europeans do not want. So instead of US agricultural products, the Europeans want the "natural" non genetically modified product. It's presents the question:
Should people have the right to destroy nature for their personal benefit?
